Salary: £70,000 - 105,000 per year
Requirements: Solid experience building and maintaining component libraries or platform-like products that serve multiple teamsExperience with TypeScript and modern frontend engineering; React experience is a plusExperience designing maintainable systems with clear boundaries, versioning, and backwards compatibilityExperience with testing practices and tooling, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testingStrong quality mindset, with attention to accessibility and performance best practices for UI systemsExperience collaborating with designers and product engineers and navigating tradeoffs across stakeholders Responsibilities: Set technical direction for key parts of Telescope, including architecture, component standards, release practices, and quality barsDrive and evolve our contribution model and how teams interact with Design SystemsOwn and improve how requests flow into the team, including triage, prioritisation, and expectationsImprove the developer and contributor experience through tooling and automationSupport internal operational needs where relevantImprove how we measure and communicate adoption and system healthEvolve our documentation publishing workflowLead rituals that keep the team effective and alignedRepresent Design Systems in cross-team initiatives and align stakeholders across Design and EngineeringCoach and mentor engineers, and help grow technical leadership in the frontend communityContribute hands-on in code as part of the role Technologies: FlowFrontendSupportMobileReactTypeScriptWebUX UI Design More:
