About this role

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements: We require a Computing or STEM degree, ideally a 2:1 or higher from a Russell Group university.We require 2-8 years of commercial software engineering experience using C# .NET.We require at least 18 months of commercial C# .NET experience and demonstrable end-to-end full stack project ownership.We need full stack experience with Blazor or JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.We need strong OOP programming skills and practical knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.We need experience applying TDD.Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, Machine Learning, CI/CD, and containers would be highly advantageous.We need engineers who can evidence individual ownership and contribution on their CV.We require the ability to work from our Oxford head office at least 3 days per week.A background or interest in Mechanical, Applied Engineering, or Scientific software development would be beneficial. Responsibilities: We participate in the full development lifecycle for proprietary applications that support our business.We design, develop, and maintain innovative tools for data management, traceability, visualisation, predictive modelling, material and component design, and production quality assurance.We work closely with process engineers, technicians, and material scientists to deliver intelligent solutions for advanced manufacturing and materials development.We solve complex, first-of-their-kind engineering challenges.We contribute to software used internally rather than customer-facing websites or generic enterprise systems.We build high-quality software with ownership and autonomy across projects.
