Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: We require a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field, plus data science experience managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques, and reporting results.We require demonstrated experience or a strong interest in working in customer-facing environments.We require comfort with a travel requirement of approximately 25%.The successful candidate must have or be able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance issued by the United Kingdom Security Vetting Unit (UKSV), and must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements. Responsibilities: We acquire the data necessary for project plans and develop usable data sets for modeling.We update internal best practices for data collection and preparation, and contribute to data integrity conversations with customers.We evaluate our teams models, recommend improvements, drive model best practices, and develop operational models that run at scale.We conduct thorough reviews of data analysis and modeling techniques, and identify and invent new evaluation methods.We research and maintain deep knowledge of the industry, including trends and technologies, to identify strategy opportunities and contribute to thought leadership best practices.We write extensible code across multiple features and develop expertise in proper debugging techniques.We define business, customer, and solution strategy goals, and partner with other teams to identify and explore new opportunities.We apply a customer-oriented focus to understand customer needs and help drive realistic customer expectations.We embody our culture and values.
