Salary: £31,000 - 71,000 per year
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science, preferably in grocery, trading, marketing, or consumer product.Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experiment design.A bachelors degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline is beneficial but not essential.Expert SQL and database skills, with the ability to write structured and efficient queries on large datasets.Experience with dbt is a strong plus, along with Python or R and GitHub.Development experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.Strong preference for experience with Looker and LookML.Strong and confident communication skills, with good knowledge of data visualisation and storytelling.High curiosity and comfort working with large amounts of data across multiple business dimensions.Based in or around London, or able to come to the office on a regular basis. Responsibilities: Develop innovative measurement and analytical approaches to understand performance and customers and embed these learnings into day-to-day decision-making.Answer complex business questions through detailed quantitative analysis and experimentation, turning findings into actionable insights.Influence strategic and tactical decision-making across leadership and cross-functional teams through strong communication and proactive problem-solving.Partner with central Analytics and Data Engineering teams to implement reliable and scalable data pipelines that manage and transform essential information.Build models and tools to inform pricing strategies and help stakeholders maintain a competitive position while maximising margin opportunity.Partner with Customer Insights teams on customer and competitor research projects and help embed learnings into operational workflows.Proactively build and nurture a data-driven culture by coaching teams and improving data literacy and confidence.Support and mentor other analysts to help them develop their skills and deliver high-quality results.
