Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: We require 4–7 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar role.We require proven experience in designing or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform or developer productivity tools.We require strong skills in Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) and programming (Python or Java).We require hands-on experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.We require proficiency with Git version control and branching strategies.We require strong AI skills and experience using AI tools and workflows.We require knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and logging solutions such as ELK or Datadog.We require familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.We require a strong understanding of infrastructure and application security best practices. Responsibilities: We lead the design, automation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure systems that support our products and services.We build an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that provides self-service capabilities for provisioning environments, deploying services, and managing infrastructure.We design automated infrastructure using Shell scripting, Python or Java, and Ansible.We build and create agentic AI workflows.We manage Kubernetes clusters and deploy containerized applications at scale.We build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.We implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack or Datadog.We ensure infrastructure security best practices and maintain clear documentation.We collaborate with developers to improve onboarding, service templates, and workflows within the IDP.We work with development and operations teams to support rapid delivery of high-quality software while maintaining system stability, scalability, and security.
