What You Will Do:
• Being a change agent promoting disciplined, model-based systems engineering within the Validation organization and throughout Pratt & Whitney • Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need. May be required to obtain a security clearance. • Developing familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, SysML (graphical modeling language) and Magic Grid methodology • Gaining exposure to jet propulsion design and test basics • Learning, refining, and creating Verification and Validation MBSE frameworks and methods – can include optimizing with coded scripts or AI tools

Qualifications You Must Have:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Qualifications We Prefer:
• Experience in systems engineering discipline • Experience with MBSE, SysML and/or programming experience in Java or similar. • Experience integrating Artificial Intelligence into engineering tool suites or processes. • Experience with aircraft engine systems and validation processes.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
