About this role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ▪ Lead all site quality functions including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, NPI/NPD Quality and Compliance activities, serving as the primary point of contact for all quality matters at the site. ▪ Drive quality performance improvements by analyzing key metrics, leading root cause investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and reducing customer complaints, nonconformances, scrap, and cost of poor quality. ▪ Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9/14/45001, environmental requirements, customer specifications, corporate standards, and applicable regulatory requirements through audits, management reviews, and quality system effectiveness. ▪ Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to improve processes, support new product introductions, qualify suppliers, and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively. ▪ Develop and lead the quality team through coaching, training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and customer focus. ▪ Complete Role Standard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: ▪ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills ▪ Working knowledge of GD&T standards ▪ Excellent computer skills and data analysis/data mining capability. ▪ Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9/14/45001) and manufacturing quality principles. ▪ Expertise in Root Cause Analysis methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA. ▪ Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), process validation, risk management, and quality metrics. ▪ Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. ▪ Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making. ▪ Proficiency in quality tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications. ▪ Ability to lead customer audits, supplier audits, and regulatory inspections
Education and Experience: ▪ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline. ▪ Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. ▪ Proven experience managing customer complaints, supplier quality programs, corrective actions, and quality audits. ▪ Demonstrated success leading quality improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business results. ▪ Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments (UL, NSF, LR) and supporting cross-functional operational excellence initiatives. ▪ ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA, 6-sigma black belt) preferred. ▪ Experience with sensors, instrumentation, valves, flow measurement devices, or industrial manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: ▪ While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. ▪ The employee is frequently required to sit. ▪ The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and drive ▪ The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. ▪ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. ▪ While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. ▪ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay:
• $123k - 154K (depending on experience) + Bonus
