The Role
As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting month-end reporting and ensuring the integrity of financial information across the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the month-end close process, including preparing, posting and reviewing journalsCompleting balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation and timely resolution of itemsProviding detailed analysis and explanations of balance sheet movementsSupporting internal and external audit processes, including statutory reporting and backing schedulesContributing to improvements in financial controls, governance, and reporting processesSupporting finance projects, including initiatives to streamline and improve month-end timelinesWorking closely with wider Finance teams (Controllership and FP&A) to deliver business objectivesCoaching and supporting an Assistant Management Accountant What We’re Looking For
Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AAT qualifiedExperience in a management accounting or financial reporting environmentStrong Excel skills (Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable)Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controlsStrong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlinesA proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills Why Join Markerstudy?
