Christchurch Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our dedicated Same Day Acute & Urgent Care service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who enjoys managing acute presentations and urgent clinical problems in a focused role, providing timely assessment and treatment for patients requiring same-day care. The role is designed to support safe working and offers the opportunity to concentrate predominantly on acute and urgent care, working alongside an experienced and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

Same-day acute and urgent care consultationsFace-to-face, telephone and remote consultationsReviewing results and actioning clinical correspondenceCompleting referrals, reports and associated clinical administrationWorking collaboratively with the wider practice and PCN teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Job Summary

Christchurch Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our dedicated Same Day Acute & Urgent Care service. This role focuses on acute presentations and urgent clinical care within a supportive training practice. Start date: Flexible.

Main Duties of the Job

Provide same-day consultations; manage acute and urgent presentations; prescribe safely; request and interpret investigations; action results and correspondence; complete referrals and reports; work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. Person Specification Essential:

MBBS/MBChB or equivalent, Full GMC Registration, inclusion on the GMC GP Register, UK General Practice experience, excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centred care.

Desirable:

Same-day acute care experience, training practice experience, service development interest. DBS and Registration
