To be successful in this role, having prior experience in caring for older people is required. A can-do attitude alongside excellent communication skills is necessary. However, even more important is possessing the compassion to deliver a high standard of care. The job might require flexibility in working hours and days. Prospective candidates would benefit from having a valid driving license and access to a vehicle due to transportation constraints in the area.
