We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic administrator to join our Oncology Outpatient team to provide full administrative support including a reception service for our chemotherapy day unit. The post holder will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload and to work closely with clinical colleagues in order to ensure the continuity of service for our patients at all times.

This post is offered on a full-time basis i.e. Monday - Friday from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM (37.5 hours a week)
Main duties of the job
Greet patients and visitors to the unit in a professional manner and in accordance with CPG and Trust policy. Book and cancel follow up appointments including blood tests. Maintain accurate filing systems. Book and cancel patient transport for future appointments on demand. Book and cancel patient interpreters for future appointments where necessary. Working on a shared inbox. Handle all paperwork associated with reception duties. Contact patients about their rescheduled appointment date/time. Booking the patients follow up appointment via eCheck out on Cerner Making reminder phone calls. Covering reception. Covering cross site between Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital if short staffed. Working closely with the nurses and doctors in clinic. Any other administrative duties relating to role.
