Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior accountant who wants to be part of optimizing our finance operational activities into a streamlined and digitalized finance, while handling the daily Accounting, Reporting and Compliance.
As a senior accountant you are responsible for specific accounting tasks for one or several legal entities in the region. You will be part of a Regional team responsible for the Reporting and Compliance of several legal entities in Northern Europe. The role includes hands-on monthly reporting and day-to-day operational accounting tasks as well as working with standardization and continuous improvements.
Key responsibilities:
The role as Senior Accountant includes:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Daily accounting activities and reconciliations (i.e Fixed assets, Inventory accounting, cash management)
· Ensure compliance with local, regional and international accounting standards
· Pro-actively identify and implement process improvements to drive digitalization and efficiency
· Support in activities with Auditors, advisors and Authorities
To be successful in this position you would need:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
· ~5-10 years of experience in legal entity accounting in an international setting
· Strong knowledge in legal entity accounting, Swedish GAAP (K3), compliance and tax accounting
· Proven experience from working with continuous process improvements
· Advanced excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably Jeeves
· Problem solving and solution oriented
· Good communication and collaboration skills
· Fluent in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
This role will be reporting to Accounting manager North Europe and be an onsite role in Gothenburg.
