Alder Grove Church of England Primary School is a new school in Shinfield, Wokingham which opened in September 2020. We are now looking to recruit a two new Lunchtime Controllers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of skilled and motivated staff looking to support the best outcomes for our children.

The role involves:
The provision of a safe and happy lunch time environment for all staff and pupils. Duties include supervising pupils while they eat their lunch; encouraging healthy choices and ensuring pupils are safe and engaged in purposeful play. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
The successful applicant should have:
excellent communication skills with young childrenthe ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of an established teamthe ability to organise and teach children to play games.first aid qualification or be willing to undertake first aid trainingVisits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
