Monday - Friday 9.30am-4.30pm, Actual Salary - £19,065 - £20,002

Are you a passionate and dynamic individual looking to make a positive impact on children's lives through physical education? We are seeking a highly motivated sports assistant to work alongside our PE Lead, joining our dedicated team at New Bradwell School and make a difference in our community. Applications from apprentices are welcome. The school was rated by Ofsted as Good overall, with Outstanding in ‘Personal Development’ and ‘Behaviour and Attitudes’.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of a comprehensive and engaging PE curriculum to primary school students.
- Delivering after-school sports clubs to foster a love for physical activity.
- Collaborating with the local sports partnership and schools across the trust to support and coach at a range of exciting sports competitions.
- Promoting and nurturing a culture of health and wellbeing among students.
Requirements:
- Experience of Sports Coaching for children, with a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring children.
- Basic knowledge of the national curriculum and various sporting activities.
- Confident communication and organizational skills to arrange sports competitions and coordinate with different stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the PE Leader and teaching team.
- Ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students and staff.
- Confidence in managing calendars and administrative tasks, including competence with using a MS suite and Google suite.
