The School Standards Committee are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Office Administrator who is organised and will to support the smooth running of the school office.
The successful candidate will be:
Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders, providing a professional and welcoming reception service. Deliver essential items to classrooms as required, including lunch boxes, water bottles, musical instruments and other pupil belongings. Answer incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages and ensure timely distribution to relevant staff members, in accordance with office procedures. Monitor the enquiry@ email inbox during working hours and respond to or forward correspondence as appropriate. Record daily school meal numbers and communicate accurate figures to the kitchen team. Print invoices received via enquiry@, process them following authorisation, and scan and forward approved invoices to the accounts team. Provide administrative support for school activities and events, including language clubs and special lunch events (e.g. Christmas, Easter and Census Day lunches), by distributing communications, collecting responses and liaising with the kitchen team. Contact parents/carers to follow up on unexplained pupil absences in line with school attendance procedures. Support the administration of after-school clubs, including monitoring bookings through ParentPay, confirming when clubs reach capacity and preparing attendance registers. Assist with the organisation and administration of the Reception milk order each half term. Undertake additional administrative and reception duties as required to support the effective operation of the school office. We can offer:
