We are looking to recruit teaching assistants to become part of our fantastic team supporting children in ‘The Nest’ our Autism provision. Our provision has grown substantially, with 75 children now on role across our two provisions- one based at Hunsbury Park and the other in Duston (Chiltern Way. With a further expansion of another two classes planned for the new 2026 2027 academic year- this is an exciting time to join a passionate and supportive team!

The role of the teaching assistant will consist of supporting learning led by the class teacher, small group work and 1.1 teaching. Teaching Assistants help our bespoke curriculum to be delivered through ASD specific approaches and support learning to be fun and meaningful. In addition, teaching assistants will support students with personal care and hygiene alongside regulation.

As a provision we are fortunate to have specialist resources available such as immersive sensory rooms, soft playrooms, custom designed and built playgrounds and outdoor regulation spaces to support the varying and complex needs of the children who attend the provision.

You should have proven experience of working within primary schools and have at least NVQ2 qualifications or GCSE C or above in both English and Maths.
