Full-time, Fixed-term Opportunity (8 months or earlier return of the post-holder)

We are committed to delivering a high quality, progressive, equitable and inclusive employment experience for our staff and are looking for an organised and customer-focused HR Officer to join our HR Services team.
As an HR Officer, you will play an important role in supporting employee lifecycle processes across the University. You will provide administrative support for a wide range of activities including probation, contract changes, DBS checks, sickness, extended family leave, holidays, resignations and retirement, ensuring these are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed procedures. You will maintain employee records, process employee changes, update HR systems, produce correspondence and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR information.
Acting as a first point of contact for HR enquiries, you will provide a professional and responsive service to employees and managers, resolving queries and directing more complex matters to the appropriate HR team. You will work closely with HR Advisers and colleagues across the University to support a seamless employee experience.
We are looking for someone who is:
