About the role:
Do you have epidemiological experience and wish to work on a European project funded by the Innovate UK as part of the Horizon Europe? The project, named ENDOMIX, aims to investigate the immune-mediated health effect of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), such as Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, in the environment.
What you would be doing:;
You will
Undertake a systematic review of the mechanistic literature (experimental, in vitro, in vivo, human) on the immunological effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals. Assess the quality and strength of evidence, using appropriate tools. Assist with the interpretation of the evidence, comparing epidemiological effects with mechanistic data, specifically on immunological impairment including auto-immune diseases. Contribute to overall evaluations of the totality of evidence on immune effects of endocrine disruptors, including causality
What we are looking for:
MSc or PhD in Biomedical Science or equivalent. Experience in Epidemiology analysis Experience of Environmental Epidemiology or toxicology Experience of conducting systemic reviews

Further Information Please note that this is a PhD level role but candidates who have not yet been officially awarded will be appointed as a Research Assistant.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).
This role is for a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
