Support the CSE team by officiating intramural sports competitions and maintaining a respectful environment. Ensure rule enforcement and safety while collaborating with game day staff.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

• Serve as the referee or umpire for intramural sports events – C, TW, P, T

• Make accurate and unbiased calls according to the rules of the game – C, TW, P, CTR, L

• Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring play and enforcing rules – C, L, P, CT

• Understand and apply the official rules and regulations for each sport – C, TW, P, CTR, L

• Address rule violations and disputes promptly and fairly – C, TW, P, CTR, L

• Ensure games start and end on time – C, TW, P, CT, L

• Monitor playing area and equipment for safety hazards – C, L, P, CT

• Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and officials – C, TW, P, CTR, L

• Maintain accurate game records and submit reports – C, TW, P, CSD, CTR, L

• Participate in training sessions and support fellow officials – C, TW, P, CSD, CTR, L

Education Requirements: Must be enrolled and in good academic standing at UPIKE.

Work Schedule: Sunday through Saturday; hours vary based on sport schedule.

Work Conditions: Heat, cold, outdoor exposure.

Physical Demands: Standing for long periods, movement on fields, lifting light equipment.

Number of Positions: Multiple, flexible hours per week (4–8 depending on sport)

Pay Rate: $8.75/hour

Location: Campus locations including Bob Amos and Bear Mountain
