Role Overview
The Real Estate Expansion Agent is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential locations for new Toters warehouses and facilities. The role supports the expansion strategy by sourcing suitable properties, conducting initial site assessments, collecting relevant property information, and coordinating with internal teams throughout the location selection process.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and source potential warehouse and commercial properties in line with Toters' expansion plans.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential locations.
• Conduct initial site visits and assess properties against established location and operational criteria.
• Evaluate key factors including accessibility, size, layout, infrastructure, utilities, loading access, parking, surrounding area, and suitability for warehouse operations.
• Collect and organize property information, including rental terms, ownership details, available areas, and site conditions.
• Coordinate with landlords, brokers, property owners, and relevant external parties.
• Prepare initial site assessment reports and recommendations.
• Work closely with Operations, Project Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders to assess the operational feasibility of potential locations.
• Support negotiations and discussions with landlords and property owners as required.
• Maintain an updated database of existing and potential properties.
• Monitor the local real estate and warehouse market to identify relevant opportunities.
• Support the expansion team throughout the property selection and acquisition/lease process.
• Coordinate site visits and ensure all required information is available for internal decision-making.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in real estate, warehousing, retail operations, logistics, or commercial expansion.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and retail operational requirements.
• Good understanding of property evaluation and commercial considerations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the local real estate market is an advantage.
• Ability to assess the practical and operational suitability of different locations.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in the field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
