JOB OVERVIEW
This year round position is responsible for the organization and implementation of day-to-day activities in the gymnastics program at our Boulder Point Facility located in Montgomery, IL.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
• Age 18 years and older.
• Previous gymnastics experience preferred, either as a coach or a gymnast.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in education, youth services, recreation or working toward a degree in these areas.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Comprehension of gymnastics skills and techniques.
• An understanding of the principles of customer service.
• Ability to organize and lead a variety of gymnastics programs.
• Ability to take instruction from coordinators, upper level coach staff and implement changes or requests.
• Ability to tactfully discuss student’s behavior, both positive and negative, with the student and parents.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR, AED, First Aid, and DCFS Certifications.
• Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the district.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach gymnastics program.
• Assist in the planning and execution of open gyms, and special events.
• Assist in marketing and promoting the gymnastics program.
• Serve in a professional and courteous manner with the highest regard to the customer.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned by your coordinator and/or supervisor.

Hours: Evenings and weekends
Rate: $17-$19/hr DOE
