Job Summary
You will be an organized, energetic, and dependable individual who plays a very important part on the team. You will handle essential day-to-day bookkeeping tasks while providing a high level of customer service and administrative support in a high-energy workspace filled with entrepreneurial-minded people.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
• Process and manage all basic bookkeeping tasks, including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), and Reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Produce and post invoices.
• Follow the A/R collections process, which involves regular communication with clients, including making telephone calls.
• Prepare deposits to be taken to the bank and prepare checks for signing.
• Produce timely and accurate financial statements every month.
• Knowledge and understanding of accrual and cash accounting techniques are necessary.
• Knowledge of Washington State B&O tax returns, filing, and paying sales tax is required.
• Assist with general office duties, including answering phones and providing administrative support.
• Run company Payroll twice per month.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, and Yardi Voyager is essential. QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification is a plus.
• Experience working on ADP Payroll.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
