About this role
Maranatha Christian Academy is located in Brooklyn Park, MN, and is seeking a JV Boys Basketball Coach to join our successful and growing basketball program. The JV Coach will work closely with our Head Coach to develop student-athletes both on the court and in their faith. At Maranatha, we believe athletics are about more than wins and losses. Responsibilities
• Lead and coach the JV boys' basketball team.
• Develop players in basketball fundamentals, skills, and team concepts.
• Work closely with the Head Coach to support the overall vision and direction of the program.
• Help prepare players for future roles within the varsity program.
• Build a positive, competitive, and Christ-centered team culture.
• Serve as a Christian role model and mentor for student-athletes.
• Communicate positively and professionally with players, parents, coaches, and athletic administration.
• Attend all practices, games, and required team activities.

• Has basketball coaching experience and a strong understanding of player development.
• Is passionate about investing in young people both on and off the court.
• Shares and supports the Christian mission and values of Maranatha Christian Academy.
• Works well within an established coaching staff and program.
• Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to competitive excellence.
