Wastewater Tanker Scheduler - 4 on 4 off shift pattern 12 hours per day

As part of an exciting growth phase, we're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Wastewater Tanker Scheduler to join our newly established operational team. You'll be at the heart of a vital wastewater operation, ensuring the right resources are deployed at the right time to support customers, emergency responses, planned works, and service delivery across the region.

As an Operations Scheduler, you will:
• Planning and scheduling wastewater tanker operations across a busy service area
• Managing driver workloads and vehicle utilisation to maximise efficiency
• Responding to urgent and reactive customer requirements
• Coordinating directly with operations managers, drivers, customers, and field teams
• Monitoring job progress and making real-time adjustments when priorities change
• Supporting service level agreements (SLAs) and operational KPIs
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, utilisation, and customer service
We're interested in people who can think ahead, stay calm under pressure, and make things happen.
Ideally, you'll have:
• Previous scheduling, planning, or dispatch experience
• Experience within wastewater, drainage, utilities, transport, logistics, tanker operations, or field services
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Confidence using scheduling and operational systems
• A customer-focused approach with a problem-solving mindset
