About the Role
We’re looking for a Specialist Seafreight to support the coordination and execution of international ocean freight shipments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate shipment data, managing documentation, tracking shipment progress, and coordinating with carriers, logistics partners, and overseas teams.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in ocean freight operations and freight forwarding who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an international environment.
What You’ll Do
• Coordinate and monitor international ocean freight shipments from planning through delivery
• Maintain accurate shipment data, planning sheets, and records in the ERP system
• Obtain, verify, and update shipment information from shipping lines, hauliers, logistics partners, and overseas offices
• Manage shipping documentation and support customs-related processes
• Track shipment progress and proactively address delays, exceptions, and operational issues
• Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, agents, and overseas offices to ensure timely shipment updates
• Support KPI achievement, cost control, and process improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in ocean freight operations and freight forwarding — required
• Solid knowledge of international shipping procedures, documentation, and supply chain processes
• Experience using ERP or Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong English communication skills (B1/B2 level or higher)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment
Technical Requirements
• Fiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps
• Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps
• Quiet, conducive home workspace
• OPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours
• OPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages
