FICOSOTA is looking for an R&D Print Packaging Specialist to join our growing Research & Development team - Fabric Care, Home Care, Cosmetics. Duties and responsibilities Provide technical expertise in the design, printing, and quality control of printed packaging. Manage and track the process of receiving, evaluating, and testing new packaging materials. Participate as a technical expert in meetings with the Marketing team, design agencies, and prepress partners. Communicate new packaging files and technical requirements to suppliers and oversee their implementation in print. Continuously work to optimize print quality, technologies, materials, and costs. Research and develop alternative printing and packaging materials in line with market trends and company needs. Monitor and analyze the packaging solutions of key competitors. Manage the prepress preparation of packaging and printed materials, including: Ensuring correct dimensions, mandatory information, technical specifications, and colors. Reviewing print-ready files provided by design and advertising agencies and, where required, preparing files for print. Preparing and evaluating color proofs. Attending first print runs for new packaging, as well as print trials with new suppliers. Ensuring that finished packaging meets all technical and quality requirements. The role will be a great fit for you if you have: Availability for frequent travel within Bulgaria and abroad. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous experience in prepress, printing technologies, and color measurement equipment. Experience with manufacturing and packaging machinery. Excellent command of English. A degree in Printing Technology, Industrial Design, Engineering, Construction, or a related field will be considered an advantage. What we are looking for A valid driver's license.
