What you can expect: Creation of concept sections and concept models Detailing, optimization, and series-ready development of design solutions, taking into account installation space, tolerances, material, and manufacturing requirements (especially injection molding, thermoforming, welding, laminating, foaming) Development of fastening and assembly concepts Development of alignment concepts Creation of specification models for strak development or interfaces Derivation of 2D drawings suitable for approval Preparation of CAD data in accordance with customer specifications for releases Publication of data in the customer's PDM system What you bring to the table: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. First professional experience in the design and development of automotive seat components. Independent CAD design using CATIA V5 for components and assemblies in the interior and seating areas Timely processing of assigned work packages and transparent communication in the event of risks or deviations Development of parametric and update-stable CAD models and ensuring data quality Good communication and technical discussion skills in English.
