About this role
What you can expect: Develop engineering concepts for Interior plastic parts Create 3D CAD models and technical drawings using CATIA V5 Ensure manufacturability, geometric integration, serviceability, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations Coordinate with packaging, simulation, manufacturing, supplier, and project teams Perform design studies and evaluate alternative concepts Support design reviews and technical discussions with customers and stakeholders Manage changes and continuously improve component designs during development phases What you bring to the table: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field First professional experience in the design and development of plastic interior components, preferably in the automotive industry Good knowledge of CATIA and experience in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawings Understanding of plastic part design, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturing (DFM) Good communication skills in English With more than 50 facilities in Europe, the Bertrandt Group has been providing development solutions for the international automotive and aircraft industry since 1974.
