Your personal sphere of influence: As a predoctoral university assistant, you will join Prof. Dr. Sebastian Egenhofer’s team and, alongside working on a dissertation, take on duties such as teaching your own courses, planning and organizing excursions, and assisting with conferences and workshops. The chair’s research and teaching span the 19th to the 21st century. The team currently consists of two postdocs and two predocs, plus administrative support. Open communication and reliability are especially important to us. Your future tasks: You will be actively involved in research, teaching, and administration, which means: You will independently teach courses in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. You will work on your dissertation. (We expect you to conclude your dissertation agreement within 12–18 months.) You will take on organizational, administrative, and conceptual tasks in research and teaching. This is part of your profile: A Master’s or Diploma degree in Art History completed with above‑average results Work and research interests focused on the art history of the 19th–21st centuries Teaching competence and a willingness to further develop it Very good German and English skills; knowledge of at least one additional foreign language A team player with strong social and communication skills...
