Release purchase orders and ensure on-time material availability Manage All India steel distribution across multiple plants and suppliers Handle distribution of 2500+ active parts daily. Coordinate with suppliers for order status, production, and dispatch planning Manage new development requirements and steel processing with multiple processing units Plan and coordinate steel and tube mill steel distribution Monitor inventory, including stock taking (57F4), reconciliation, FIFO, and excess stock. Track supplier performance (delivery, quality, responsiveness) Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and negotiation Plan and arrange transportation for timely material movement Maintain procurement data and transactions in SAP
