Job Overview We are seeking an experienced IP Network Engineer with a strong background to support, optimize, and scale our core IP backbone. In this role, you will develop, improve, and maintain robust LAN/WAN architectures while driving network reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the development, improvement and maintenance of the IP backbone network. Using knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Testing and evaluating network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Requirements & Technical Skills 4 to 6 years of hands-on engineering experience in a network environment. Mastery of advanced BGP (including BGP Communities), MPLS (L2/L3 VPNs, Traffic Engineering), and IS-IS/OSPF routing protocols. Deep hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco Service Provider hardware platforms: Cisco NCS Series Cisco ASR Series (9000, 9900, 1000) Cisco Nexus & CRS Series Working Conditions & Availability: Willingness to work maintenance windows outside standard office hours (nights/weekends). Certifications: CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching or Service Provider) strongly preferred; CCIE is a plus.
