Job Duties: Act as the single point of contact for all IT facility support Provide remedial support to resolve computer-related problems Handle day-to-day administration, operation, and management of computer facilities Set up and configure hardware and software Maintain inventory, maintenance, and security incident records Compile reports (inventory, disposal forms) Maintain the school website Perform basic video/photo taking and editing Provide technical support for school functions, activities, and HKEAA examinations Assist users with general IT enquiries Initiate, manage, and follow through procurement processes for IT services and equipment, ensuring all requirements, specifications, quotations, approvals, and documentation are properly prepared and maintained Technical Requirements: At least 4 years of working experience in managing systems and networks, and providing technical support in schools or educational institutions (government school experience highly preferred) Completion of a Higher Diploma in IT or above, or equivalent Knowledge of configuring and managing: Desktops, laptops, tablets, interactive whiteboards Network multi-function printers, photocopiers, scanners, projectors, speakers, visualizers Knowledge of network communication protocols and services: TCP/IP, HTTPS, VPN, SSID, VLAN , and central management of Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome via Windows domain group policy Experience administering: Microsoft Windows Server (2012–2022) Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (with EES license) Google Workspace for Education (with Teaching and Learning Upgrade license) Learning platforms such as AI Learning Platform, eClass, and HKEdCity Linux Server with Apache, PHP, MySQL Layer 3 managed switches Familiarity with online meeting tools including Google Meet and Zoom Meeting Working Hours: Average of 43 hours per week Default schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 5:18 p.m. (lunch hour adjustable), plus alternate Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
