As the Director, Corporate Strategy , you'll play a critical role in guiding the long-term strategy of Peoples Gas. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll lead strategic planning, enterprise risk management, business continuity efforts, and strategy execution while helping the organization navigate an evolving energy landscape. This is a highly visible role that serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and helps drive the future of the business. What You'll Do You'll lead the planning, development, communication, and execution of Peoples Gas' strategic priorities while partnering with leaders across the organization, TECO Energy, Emera, and affiliate companies. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead the annual Strategy Refresh Process and facilitate strategic planning sessions with executive leadership. Drive enterprise risk management, business continuity planning, and risk assessments. Monitor industry trends, conduct strategic analyses, and develop future-focused business scenarios. Lead strategy execution reporting, performance monitoring, and Balanced Scorecard reviews. Prepare executive and Board-level presentations and strategic communications. Lead, coach, and develop strategy team members while influencing cross-functional teams across the organization. What Success Looks Like Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership. Successfully aligns strategic planning with business objectives. Identifies emerging risks and opportunities that shape business decisions. What We're Looking For We're seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking leader with strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, can balance strategy with execution, and is passionate about helping organizations achieve long-term success. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college/university. 10 years combination of experience in strategic planning, strategic analysis, collaborative strategy, leading teams, strategic trend analysis, working with senior management, and facilitation. 5 years of leading people or project teams experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's in Business Administration (MBA). Gas utility experience with experience in these functions. Experience and knowledge of strategic planning and enterprise risk management principles, methodologies, and tools. Ability to think strategically and anticipate how trends may impact organizational direction. Ability to work independently and in teams to lead strategic trends and scenario analysis. Strong facilitation skills and the ability to collaborate at all levels across the organization. Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to get things done while managing various stakeholders. Team player with a proven track record for the ability to work collaboratively with others in the organization and provide coaching to achieve results. Experienced people leader and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and solid presentation and facilitation skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Copilot and Outlook) and SharePoint. Excellent power point skills needed with an ability to synthesize complicated strategic matters into easily consumable power point slide decks. Strong business acumen. Ability to coach, counsel, and guide across all levels of the company. Ability to anticipate the long-term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving.
