This role will be accountable for managing the commercial relationship with Booker across the different business segments (retail and foodservice) and through all RTM’s, for Carlsberg Britvic’s soft drinks and beer brands portfolio. Managing a team of Account Manager’s, you will implement effective sales strategies and execute our brand plans. This role will report into the Wholesale and Export Director. Role Responsibilities: Own P&L performance across the soft drinks and beer portfolio, supporting delivery against Carlsberg Britvic’s business growth agenda. Develop and execute effective commercial plans to meet and exceed budget targets for Booker. Establish trusted relationships through the Director level and deliver high-quality pricing, promotions, availability, and in-store execution. Execute the Joint Business Plan, adapting strategy to enhance performance in a changing market. Partner cross-functionally with Booker, Tesco and One Stop teams to unlock growth and generate measurable commercial value. Enhance forecasting accuracy and financial excellence through close collaboration with Account Managers and wider business teams. Strategically manage commercial risk, track performance and take decisive action to stay ahead of plan. Lead, coach and develop a highly productive team, enabling both individual and collective achievement. Shape and support the long-term Booker strategy alongside the Wholesale & Export Director, helping deliver sustainable growth across the full portfolio. Experience and Key Attributes: Experienced Account Controller with the capability and potential to advance into an Account Director role. Drinks industry experience (soft drinks and/or beer) with a solid understanding of category dynamics and customer priorities. Commercially experienced with confidence in full P&L ownership and delivering profitable growth. Highly effective relationship builder, engaging stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. Experienced cross-functional collaborator, partnering effectively with Marketing, Finance, Category, and Supply Chain teams to deliver customer success. Skilled in account management, forecasting and S&OP processes, ensuring seamless delivery from planning through to execution. Accomplished negotiator skilled in delivering impactful commercial agreements and contract renewals. Inspirational people leader with experience coaching, developing and motivating productive teams. Skilled in challenging constructively, managing change and creating a clear vision that leads to results. Brand- and customer-focused, with a steadfast focus on growth, service excellence and execution. Highly accountable, professional and able to handle changing priorities, with the determination to overcome challenges and produce high-quality outcomes. Well-developed organisational, planning, and scheduling skills, suited to work effectively in busy commercial environments.
