Head of Equipment Installation UK Lead the Delivery of Complex Equipment Installation Projects Across the UK We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Equipment Installation UK to lead our installation operations function and play a key role within our senior leadership team. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, design integration, and execution of equipment installation projects across the UK. This is a high-profile leadership role with significant influence over operational performance, customer satisfaction, project delivery, and financial results. As the leader of our installation operations team, you will work closely with sales, commercial, and project delivery colleagues to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service. What You'll Be Doing Leading and developing a team of Project Coordinators, Installation Project Managers, and Drawing Office personnel. Managing the successful delivery of equipment installation projects from design through to completion. Overseeing subcontract installation partners and ensuring consistent service and quality standards. Driving accurate forecasting, revenue delivery, and margin performance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, and key stakeholders. Managing project variations, outstanding costs, logistics, and stock held externally. Identifying opportunities to reduce quality-related costs and improve operational performance. Establishing, monitoring, and reporting against operational KPIs. Ensuring compliance, governance, and the accuracy of operational reporting. Contributing as a key member of the UK senior management team and supporting wider business objectives. About You We're looking for a proven operational leader who combines technical expertise with strong commercial awareness and exceptional people management skills. You will bring: Extensive experience managing installation, project delivery, or operational teams within a construction, engineering, manufacturing, or related environment. Strong understanding of installation processes, design coordination, and project planning. Experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams. A track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, costs, margins, and forecasting. The ability to influence across multiple functions and work effectively within a senior leadership team. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Qualifications Relevant industry experience and a proven track record in a similar leadership role are essential. What's In It For You?
