The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are: • Ceramic wall and floor tiles • Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products • Precast concrete products and architectural elements • Office & home furniture and interior décor products Job Purpose Ensure the implementation and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on a project site. Monitoring compliance, conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, and developing emergency response plans to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Functional Responsibilities HSE Compliance Assurance: Assist in ensuring HSE compliance through regular assessments, monitoring, and recommending corrective actions at work areas. Participate in HSE risk assessments, assist in defining protection/prevention measures, and support the implementation of control measures to mitigate significant risks. Support the review and maintenance of protection and prevention systems based on HSE requirements. Integration into Business Processes: Assist in incorporating HSE factors into business processes, projects, and departmental culture. Employee Awareness and Training: Help ensure staff awareness of HSE responsibilities and assist in providing relevant training as per guidelines. Support the delivery of training on HSE policy and instructions for new employees and subcontractors. Operational Procedures and Equipment Management: Assist in the implementation of operating procedures for managing occupational safety, health risks, and environmental impact. Help check and maintain HSE equipment. Emergency Preparedness: Support the development and implementation of emergency plans, assist in identifying and training emergency response teams, and help communicate team details to all employees. Assist in leading and controlling safe evacuations during emergencies. Monitoring and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and reporting on the execution of the HSE management system/plan to the unit manager and HSE team. Site Inspections and Risk Control: Conduct daily safety site inspections to identify potential hazards and assist in controlling risks. Support the planning and monitoring of all on-site activities to ensure alignment with HSE rules and procedures. Communication: Communicate HSE issues/initiatives during business meetings. Documentation and Records Management: Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining all HSE documentation and records in the unit system. General Responsibilities HR Proficiency: Collaborate with teams to get the work effectively achieved. Ensure effective communication with peers and managers, and show openness to directions and feedback. Delivery: Execute the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Use resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Problem-Solving: Solve any related issues arise and escalate any complex operational problems. Quality: Follow quality requirements and specifications for products or processes or related activities. Business Process & Compliance: Execute and comply related tasks as per defined policies, procedures, and work instructions. Safety: Adhere to all Safety procedures and regulations. Qualification Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Tech Experience 2 to 4 Years Skills Safety Awareness and Compliance Safety Reviews and Inspections
