What will your typical day look like? This 15-month contract Manager, Privacy and Confidentiality position involves the following: Advising engagement teams on client privacy and confidentiality requirements at the pursuit and proposal stages Negotiating privacy and confidentiality client and vendor contracts Assessing engagement and business process-specific privacy and confidentiality risks and recommending mitigation strategies to address the same Advising on ad hoc privacy and confidentiality risks / issues Leading ad hoc privacy and confidentiality projects / programs Monitoring for changes to the external data protection landscape and reporting on the same Supporting executive reporting and program metrics This role will report to the Senior Manager, Privacy and Confidentiality within Data Risk and Trust. About the team This role is part of Deloitte's Data Risk and Trust team within the Regulatory, Quality, Risk & Reputation (RQRR) function. We are a diverse team of professionals specializing in AI governance, data governance, privacy and confidentiality, and information and records management. Together, we help ensure Deloitte's data is trusted, protected, discoverable, and ready to support innovation and informed decision-making. We do so by acting as a strategic partner to the business by guiding them on how to achieve their data ambitions through creative problem solving and effective risk management. Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Privacy, Data Governance, or a related field International Association of Privacy Professionals or equivalent certification / designation Experience negotiating / reading contracts, assessing risk, and recommending and implementing data protection controls Excellent communicator and able to build followership Strong organization and attention to detail It would be great for you to have some of these nice-to-haves as well: Proficient with AI tooling and AI data risks Understanding the intersection of data, records, content, knowledge, privacy, and AI governance and management Experience supporting organizational change and adoption initiatives French or Spanish is an asset Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
