Job Purpose Operate and support assigned health, safety and environmental activities for Chilseo Manufacturing in line with AkzoNobel HSE requirements, relevant Korean legislation, SAPA requirements, KOSHA-MS, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and the IPK HSE Management System. The role focuses on manufacturing safety, occupational health, safety risk management, training, inspections, HSE system evidence management and corrective action follow-up. Environmental and chemical support is provided within assigned site scope, including ISO 14001 evidence, spill prevention, emergency response, waste / chemical handling and HSE system documentation. Key Accountabilities 1. Manufacturing Safety Risk Management – Operate manufacturing safety risk management, risk assessment, field safety control and corrective action follow-up. ( 25 %) 2. Health Management – Operate company-wide occupational health management, occupational disease prevention, health consultation, medical check-up planning and health-related legal requirements. (20%) 3. HSE Management System / PAT / ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Support – Operate assigned HSE management system activities, PAT evidence, ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 records and documentation within assigned scope. (20%) 4. Continuous Improvement / Training / BBS – Operate assigned HSE improvement activities, training, BBS, LSR, incident learning, HSE communication and action plan tracking. (20%) 5. KOSHA-PSM / HSE Authority Inspection / Environmental Support – Support assigned KOSHA-PSM activities, HSE authority inspection preparation and environmental support activities within assigned site scope. (15%) Job Requirements Qualifications / Education • University degree in safety, health, industrial hygiene, engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering or related discipline. • HSE or occupational health-related certification is preferred. • Preferred certifications include Industrial Safety Engineer, Industrial Hygiene Engineer, Construction Safety Engineer, Dangerous Goods Engineer or other relevant HSE certifications. • Environmental certification is optional but not mandatory for this role. Management / General Skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills with employees, contractors and line managers. • Good documentation, reporting and evidence management skills. • Ability to manage routine inspections, training, action tracking and deadlines. • Ability to follow up corrective actions effectively. • Basic verbal and written English communication skills is preferred. Functional Skills • Good understanding of Korean occupational safety and health requirements. • Good understanding of manufacturing safety, contractor safety and risk assessment. • Good understanding of occupational health management, medical check-up coordination and occupational disease prevention. • Good understanding of PTW, LOTOTO, working at height, forklift, hoist and other critical safety controls is preferred. • Basic understanding of SAPA, PAT, ISO 45001, KOSHA-MS and HSE evidence management. • Basic understanding of KOSHA-PSM and process safety documentation is preferred. • Basic understanding of environmental and chemical risks is preferred for emergency response and HSE interface support. Experience • More than 3 years of HSE, safety or occupational health experience is preferred. • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, marine coating, construction, shipyard or field service environment is preferred. • Experience in HSE inspection, risk assessment, training, BBS or corrective action tracking is preferred. • Experience in occupational health program support, medical check-up coordination or industrial hygiene activities is preferred. • Experience in HSE system evidence management, SAPA, PAT, ISO 45001 or KOSHA-MS is preferred.
