Location : This role will be based in Leeds Valley - Hybrid Working (1 day in the office a week) Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday. We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP Principal Consultant – PM to join the IT team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. The IT function are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. The SAP team is part of the IT function and plays a key role in optimising and transforming our SAP applications and associated Enterprise Systems. We support business areas such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Capital Delivery and Asset Maintenance/Management. Our team consists of functional and technical consultants, along with support related roles in Project Management, Business Analysis and Service Management, the SAP PM Principal Consultant will play a key role in the SAP team driving business change and being a subject matter expert for the technology within this space. Where you fit in: As our SAP Principal Consultant – PM you will: Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications. Lead change requests, from initial request through to final delivery. Support the configuration, testing, and delivery of changes within S/4HANA, working closely with offshore AMS teams and business users. Ensure all system and process changes are aligned with UK regulations and the existing SAP solution landscape. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all stakeholders involved. Support project delivery including implementation of new solutions from design through to go-live. Provide technical expertise across the SAP applications within the PM space. Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore AMS providers responsible for system changes and BAU support., and as a trusted advisor to leadership with the Operations function. What skills & qualifications you will need: Core SAP & PM Expertise (experience of FMS/MRS integration is desirable). Evidence of delivery of robust integrations across PM and third-party cloud systems. Good co-ordination and communication skills with excellent slide, document and spreadsheet skills. Formal qualifications that include SAP PM. Experience of 10–15+ years in SAP PM. Data & Reporting (custom reporting gather requirements and build test and instructing end user use of reports, Strong data governance & GDPR awareness.
