Mölnlycke is now looking for a Senior Material Developer within silicone technology to join our global HQ in Gothenburg. Where You'll Make a Difference In this role, you'll be joining a team of silicone technology experts, driving the development of next-generation silicone solutions for wound care applications. You will combine deep technical expertise with a strong innovation mindset, helping shape future material that create value for patients, healthcare professionals and the planet. Here's how you'll make an impact: Lead the development and characterization of silicone-based materials and technologies. Drive innovation projects from early concepts through technology development. Identify new material opportunities and translate user needs into technical solutions. Build strong relationships with suppliers, research institutes and external partners. Support product development and new product innovation within Wound Care. Monitor emerging technologies, material trends and intellectual property landscapes. Contribute technical leadership by sharing knowledge, influencing decisions and driving collaboration across teams. The role combines hands-on laboratory work, testing and prototyping with analysis, planning and strategical technology development. Significant experience in material development within silicone technologies. Deep technical expertise in silicone chemistry, silicone physics, or related material technologies. Experience driving development projects and solving complex technical challenges. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused mindset. The ability to translate patient and healthcare professional needs into material solutions.
