Acting as a design- and code-governance gatekeeper, this individual reviews and approves technical designs and pull requests and provides Americas-hours technical support governance. Positioned in São Paulo to provide time-zone coverage across the Americas, the role partners closely with the Sr Technical Architect, the DevOps/Release analyst, and the regional support team to ensure every change respects Bunge's development guidelines, security model, and platform standards. Essential Functions: Main Accountabilities Solution analysis & delivery Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions. Perform impact assessments for new enhancements, integrations, data-model changes, automation, and security modifications across the Salesforce platform. Collaborate with developers, architects, and administrators to design maintainable solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices and Bunge standards. Support testing activities including test planning, test-case validation, UAT coordination, defect analysis, and deployment-readiness assessments. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to Salesforce configuration, business processes, integrations, data quality, and user access. Maintain functional and technical documentation including process flows, solution designs, data mappings, configuration documents, and release documentation. Provide production support and continuous-improvement recommendations to enhance platform adoption, user experience, operational efficiency, and business value. Design & code governance (build gatekeeper) Review and approve Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and pull requests before development begins, enforcing the global template, component reuse, governor-limit awareness, and Bunge development guidelines (e.g., “without sharing” usage, user-mode queries, approved trigger framework). Act as a technical gatekeeper for changes that touch core objects, the data model, sharing, or automation — ensuring solutions remain consistent with the applicable Org / template and do not introduce divergence or technical debt. Uphold platform consistency through cross-review of designs and code across both business-line Orgs, escalating structurally significant or cross-Org changes to the Global Technical Architect Support governance & platform health (Americas coverage) Provide Americas-hours support governance — partnering with the support owner to review incident fixes and minor enhancements (PR / code review) before they are built and deployed, ensuring time-zone continuity for the global team. Act as backup to the Sr Technical Architect on security and platform-health activities — including Health Check, Shield / Event Monitoring reviews, API / data / governor-limit monitoring, and technical-debt and data-hygiene tracking. Standards, convergence & continuous improvement Support enforcement of standards on partner / MSP-delivered work, ensuring external-partner changes meet the Definition of Done and pass the applicable quality gates before release. Act as a subject-matter expert in Salesforce solution and governance practices, providing guidance and mentoring to analysts, administrators, and partner teams. Impact / Dimensions Accountable for the technical quality and standards-conformance of solutions delivered across multiple, moderately-to-highly complex Salesforce Orgs and projects. Provides input on solution approach, resource planning, and standards / policy development within the technical solutions domain. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Design / code-review coverage and turnaround for governed changes (SDDs and pull requests). Reduction in post-deployment defects and standards / template deviations attributable to reviewed work. Timeliness and quality of Americas-hours support governance and issue resolution. Platform-health and technical-debt indicators for the areas under governance. Major Opportunities and Decisions Determining whether a proposed change respects the applicable template and standards, or requires redesign or escalation. Making design-consistency decisions across two business-line Orgs where precedents may differ or not yet exist. Identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt and advance convergence across the multi-Org estate. Management / Leadership Operates as a senior individual contributor with limited oversight, owning governance for assigned domains and Orgs. Leads and participates with comparable influence in large projects and initiatives related to solution delivery and governance. Provides guidance and mentoring to analysts, administrators, and partner / support staff on standards and best practices. Contributes to short-to-mid-term talent and knowledge-transfer plans within the technical solutions area. Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces Works closely with the Global Technical Architect and Sr Technical Architect, the DevOps / Release analyst, Salesforce developers, administrators, quality-assurance teams, business analysts, regional (functional) leads, external delivery partners (MSP), and IT leadership. Knowledge and Technical Competencies Strong understanding of Salesforce platform configuration, security and sharing model, data model, workflow automation, Flow, reports, and dashboards. Hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, and asynchronous processing — sufficient to perform meaningful code review. Proven experience performing design reviews, code / pull-request reviews, and enforcing development guidelines and coding standards. Experience in requirements gathering, business-process mapping, solution documentation, and stakeholder management. Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and enterprise application interfaces. Familiarity with multi-Org environments and Org-consolidation / data-migration considerations (advantageous). Working knowledge of release management and CI/CD concepts (e.g., Copado, Salesforce DX, Git) sufficient to collaborate effectively with the DevOps / Release analyst — pipeline ownership is not required. Awareness of static code analysis (e.g., PMD) and Apex test-coverage standards as quality gates. Ability to perform root-cause analysis, impact assessments, testing coordination, and change-management activities. Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I / II, Administrator, App Builder; Application / System Architect credentials advantageous). Proficiency in English; Portuguese and/or Spanish advantageous for regional stakeholder engagement. Minimum Requirements Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's may be preferred), with over 10 years of position-related functional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive hands-on Salesforce experience across configuration and development is required, with demonstrated experience in a technical-governance, senior-analyst, or lead capacity.
