The Opportunity We're seeking an innovative Head of People Services to lead the next evolution of our people experience, services, systems, data and transformation agenda. This is an opportunity to build a contemporary, technology-enabled people services function that delivers exceptional experiences for leaders and employees while driving enterprise-wide transformation across People & Culture. Reporting to the General Manager, Business Partnering & Operations, you will lead a diverse team spanning People Services, people systems, data and insights, and transformation initiatives. You will play a pivotal leadership role in modernising how People & Culture delivers value across the business by: Building a high-performing team focused on service, quality and customer outcomes Creating simple, scalable and digitally enabled employee experiences Driving automation, AI adoption and process transformation Elevating people data, reporting and workforce insights Leading continuous improvement initiatives Strengthening governance, compliance and operational excellence This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys transforming complexity into simplicity. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver initiatives that create meaningful improvements for employees, leaders and the broader organisation. About You We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded leader who combines operational excellence with a passion for transformation. Most importantly, you'll bring: Experience leading People Services or HR Operations functions, or similar A track record of delivering change in complex organisations Expertise in service delivery, operating model design and continuous improvement Experience leading technology-enabled transformation and automation initiatives Strong people analytics and data-driven decision-making capability The ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive enterprise outcomes A passion for creating exceptional employee and customer experiences Experience building high-performing, engaged teams Applications close 20th September 2026 Why Join Transgrid This is more than a leadership role.
