About the role Looking for a role where no two days are the same, and you get to spend your day helping customers bring their projects to life? K&B Mitre 10 Norwood is on the lookout for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our team on a part-time basis (25-30 hours per week). Working across a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, you'll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in creating a great in-store experience for every customer. Whether it's helping someone find the right product, processing a sale, or keeping the store looking its best, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day success of the business. What you will be doing; Assisting customers with product advice and recommendations Responding to customer enquiries in-store and over the phone Processing sales through the POS system Creating and managing special orders and customer deliveries Maintaining pricing, signage and promotional displays Keeping work areas clean, safe and well presented Following OH&S procedures and reporting any hazards or suspicious activity You’ll likely be a match if you have: Has strong customer service skills and enjoys working with people Is reliable, motivated and willing to roll up their sleeves Brings a positive attitude and works well in a team Has basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Has previous retail, customer service or sales experience Is comfortable handling cash and using point-of-sale systems Holds a forklift licence or trade qualification (advantageous, but not essential) About Us K & B Timber & Hardware Pty Ltd is a prominent player in the hardware, timber, building supplies and truss manufacturing industries.
