About this role
Qualifications: 1.5-10 years of design experience in a component or product development environment preferred. 2.Experience designing consumer products preferred. 3.Experience applying technologies to create products or subsystems as part of larger product design. 4.Experience with CAD tools; 3D modeling and FEA experience preferred. 5.Working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Main responsibilities: 1.Execute product design steps following core engineering practices and discipline. 2.Use project plan definitions to deliver solutions for critical success factors in a cross functional project management environment. 3.Release design documentation via engineering data management tools; communicate product and component design requirements. 4.Support product prototyping processes. 5.Support product validation processes. 6.Research, investigate, and drive cutting edge thinking to pursue industry innovative products, processes, and technology. 7.Support and interact with customers in a field support capacity.
