The Opportunity We are looking for a Manager, Enterprise Communications to serve as the chief storyteller and editorial leader for our internal channels. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communication, you will lead a team of communication professionals responsible for connecting nearly 5,000 employees to our broader corporate strategy through compelling content and strategic channel management. You will own the enterprise editorial calendar, oversee our daily and weekly content platforms (including our Intranet and employee newsletter), and ensure that corporate news is delivered in a cohesive, timely, and engaging manner. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller with a journalistic mindset, who can proactively source stories from across the business and weave them into our larger corporate narrative while developing a high-performing and engaged team. What to Expect
• Editorial Leadership: Lead the Enterprise Communication team’s editorial planning and execution, overseeing the enterprise internal editorial calendar to ensure a balanced, strategic, and steady flow of information that connects employees to our business priorities and prevents channel fatigue. • Channel Management: Serve as the managing editor for our primary internal channels, specifically overseeing the content strategy for our Definity Connect intranet and the curation and distribution of our weekly all-employee newsletter. • Enterprise Storytelling: Proactively partner with business unit leaders and communicators across the organization to source, write, and produce compelling internal stories that connect team successes to our overarching corporate goals. • Corporate Announcements: Draft, sequence, and distribute major corporate news for our employee audience, including quarterly earnings summaries, leadership changes, town hall recaps, and operational updates. • People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a small but mighty team of communications professionals, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and growth opportunities. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Measurement & Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on channel engagement metrics (open rates, click-throughs, intranet traffic), using data to optimize our content strategy, send times, and formats. What You Bring
• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or journalism, including experience leading teams and managing complex editorial and channel strategies. • The Newsroom Editor: You have exceptional journalistic writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for a "hook" and the ability to make complex business strategy engaging and easy to understand. • Digital Channel Expertise: You have hands-on experience managing content within enterprise Intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint, modern CMS tools) and email distribution software. • Calendar & Traffic Manager: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage a high-volume content calendar, pivot quickly for urgent corporate announcements, and prioritize competing requests from various business units. • Data-Informed Storyteller: You are familiar with digital communication metrics and have a passion for using data to drive content decisions and channel improvements. Salary Range: $88,000-$138,000
