Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Casual Conference & Banqueting Operations Team Leader, you’re not just providing leadership and direction for event set-up operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Oversee event set-up and inspections: Provide direction and oversight to the banquet set-up team, Meetings and Convention Services Managers, and Facilities Managers to ensure all event spaces are accurately prepared, meet client specifications, and are inspected on schedule • Drive seamless event turnover: Oversee breakdown and clean-up procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness for future functions • Uphold space presentation standards: Guide and assist team members with tasks such as furniture care, floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, and overall banquet space presentation • Support event success: Assist with planning, organization and execution of all banquet functions • Enhance guest experiences: Collaborate with the Culinary and F&B Teams to monitor service and product quality, address guest feedback, resolve issues, and support improvements to the banqueting experience • Champion company culture: Foster a diverse, high-performing team by integrating Hilton’s values into all event initiatives, creating a guest- and team member-centric environment, and leading with direct, meaningful engagement • Lead and develop the team: Support and manage banquet/facilities team members, addressing issues promptly and encouraging a motivated, collaborative work environment
