Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a Practice Administrator to be an integral part of the management team. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management direction to multiple physician practices in orthopedics and other specialties as assigned.
The position oversees the operations of the medical group to ensure accomplishment of the Company’s strategic goals and objectives. The Practice Administrator is also responsible new business development including physician recruitment. This position works with physician leadership, Corporate Management, hospital administration, practice managers, practice staff, other clients, consultants and business vendors and serves as a liaison between the various constituents. This position is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the all activities associated within the physician group.
Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Services, or a related field. Experience: Required: 3 - 5 years of progressive responsible operations experience in an ambulatory care setting. Preferred: Demonstrated record of positive management/leadership outcomes preferably in large, complex, multi-specialty practice(s), and exposure to an academic environment strongly desired. #LI-MS3
