HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on Wednesday, September 9th from 10:00AM - 1:30 PM. Meet with Hiring Managers to explore Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flex positions in the Spartanburg, SC area. Various days and shifts are available with a pay rate of $20.00/hr, with weekly pay. Candidates must be available to work 12-hour shifts. Shift times are 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Location of event: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spartanburg 895 Spartan Blvd, Spartanburg, SC 29301 This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers.
Job Requirements Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in physical security or related field. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in basic computer applications (email, incident reporting software, etcetera). • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. • Must have a valid Driver's License. • Reliable transportation to and from work, • Ability to work idependently and as a team. • Must be able to work weekends and holidays. • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts. • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart. • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or/and infraction of rules. • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies. • Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs uding computer systems. • Collaborate with team members, building management, and law enforcement when neccessary. • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. • Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully. • Monitor access points and verify credentials of each individual entering the premises. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
