The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels for conveyor and material handling systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.Responsibilities
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels for conveyor and material handling systems. • Perform point-to-point wiring of electrical components, including relays, switches, terminal blocks, and sensors. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to complete assemblies. • Install and connect motors, push buttons, sensors, and other electrical components. • Route and secure wiring within panels, wire trays, and conduit systems. • Verify materials and ensure all electrical components are installed per specifications prior to shipment. • Perform functional testing and quality inspections to ensure proper operation of systems. • Troubleshoot wiring issues, electrical faults, and component failures. • Collaborate with mechanical assemblers, engineers, and controls teams to complete builds. Essential Skills
• Experience working with conveyor systems or material handling equipment. • Knowledge of low-voltage and industrial electrical systems. • Experience with wiring, sensors, or control systems. • Electro-mechanical assembly experience (mechanical and electrical). Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Soldering or fabrication experience. • Skills in automation, electrical, mechanical, and robotics. The position may require working with various technologies and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining a clean workspace. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
