Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment across Molding, Paint, and Assembly operations. This role focuses on ensuring reliable equipment performance through preventative and predictive maintenance, accurate documentation of work performed, and effective use of technical schematics and tools.Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed using CMMS and PMC systems in accordance with established work order procedures. • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace components of DexSys equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, piping, pumps, and pneumatics in the Molding, Paint, and Assembly departments. • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment by inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts as necessary to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. • Use appropriate hand tools and test equipment to perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently. • Read and interpret parts breakdowns, machine schematics, and technical documentation to diagnose issues and plan repairs. • Fabricate, modify, or install equipment and components as required to support production needs and process improvements. • Troubleshoot electrical issues, including working with PLCs and related control systems, to restore equipment functionality. • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify recurring issues and recommend maintenance or equipment improvements. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on equipment performance and maintenance practices. Essential Skills

• Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including experience working on industrial equipment. • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems, pneumatics, pumps, and piping in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and controls, including PLC troubleshooting. • Experience with PLC programming or modification to support equipment functionality and process changes. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting machine schematics, parts breakdowns, and technical drawings. • Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. • Robotics exposure or experience working with automated equipment and robotic systems. • Journeyman-level skill set or equivalent practical experience in industrial maintenance. • Associate’s Degree required, or six years of directly related work experience that may be substituted in lieu of the degree. • Combination of relevant work experience and current schooling toward an Associate’s Degree will be considered. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
